JCDecaux have announced that they will be working with four charity partners in 2020 and 2021.  The four charity partners are Alone, Barnardos, Fairtrade and Fighting Blindness. For the last number of years JCDecaux have partnered with selected charities for two-year terms, providing each charity with access to their portfolio of outdoor formats, so that they can raise much needed awareness of the issues that they are facing and encourage people to support them.

Alone will be using the space to highlight the issues affecting older people and inviting those who need help to reach out to them as well as connecting with members of the community interested in volunteering. Barnardos’ objective is to educate people in relation to the impact of trauma and childhood adversity and to advise of their work with vulnerable children and families.  Fairtrade’s mission is to get the Fairtrade brand in front of people so that they can maximise sales of their products and support farmers and workers in developing countries. Fighting Blindness will be building awareness of their ambition to cure blindness and support those with sight loss along with fundraising for vital research.

Tony O’Flanagan, Marketing Director of JCDecaux said, “working with a select number of charity partners over a two-year period allows us to provide  a significant platform on a national basis so they can inform people of the vital work that they are doing and how the public can help with their cause.  We are looking forward to working closely with each of our charity partners over 2020/2021 to ensure that they get the most out of the space available to them.”
