JCDecaux have announced that they will be working with three partner charities in Northern Ireland for a two year period, commencing in January. The partner charities for 2018 / 2019 are Concern Worldwide, Inspire and Simon Community.
JCDecaux will be donating £300,000 worth of outdoor media space over the 2 year period to support each charity in their efforts to raise awareness and drive fundraising.
Peter Anderson, Northern Ireland Director of Concern Worldwide, said: “This partnership with JCDecaux gives us an invaluable opportunity to creatively engage with a wider audience and raise awareness about what we are doing to help vulnerable communities affected by the global challenges of conflict, instability, hunger and climate change.”
Inspire’s CEO Professor Peter McBride said “We are thrilled that JCDecaux have chosen Inspire to be one of their charity partners in 2018/19 and in particular our “Change your Mind” mental health campaign. Inspire is committed to stamping out the stigma surrounding mental health and, through this partnership, JCDecaux are providing us with a vital opportunity to engage and inform people about our work and sources of support.”
Jim Dennison, Chief Executive of the Simon Community NI said ‘We are delighted to have been chosen as a charity partner by JCDecaux. Raising awareness of homelessness and how people at risk of homelessness can get support is crucial for us. This partnership gives us enormous capacity to very visibly tell our story. For that we are very grateful.’
Tony O’Flanagan, Marketing Director of JCDecaux said, ‘We are very pleased to be in a position to work with three eminently worthy charities in Northern Ireland for 2018/2019. We are looking forward to using our formats to inform people of the key issues facing each charity.”
