PHD are the winners of the high profile Out of Home competition ‘Bravo Fame - The Agency Edition’.
PHD walk away with €150k worth of outdoor media space for the Mondelēz International brand Oreo. Horizon Graphics are supplying the print for the winning campaign. In addition a station innovation to the value of €5k courtesy of Eclipse Media and a one day station sampling event courtesy of Mixtape Marketing are also included in the prize and Figureheads have been commissioned to carry out in-depth pre and post research on the winning campaign.
‘Fame - The Agency Edition’ was a continuation of the hugely successful ‘Make Me Famous’ campaign that Bravo Outdoor Advertising ran in 2012, the winners of which - Paddy O’s Granola - went on to run an Out of Home campaign that increased awareness of their brand by half a million consumers.
‘Fame – The Agency Edition’ was open to all media agencies operating in the Republic of Ireland. The initiative was aimed at encouraging the agencies to enter clients who had not previously been significant investors in outdoor media.
A shortlist of 6 agencies (Carat, Clear Blue Water, Mediacom, Mindshare, PHD and Vizeum) were invited to present their pitch to a judging panel made up of independent industry experts. The quality of submissions and the diversity of brands entered were extremely impressive, and the cases put forward for investment in Out of Home media were persuasive and compelling.
‘Fame – The Agency Edition’ was initially set up by Bravo Outdoor Advertising Ltd., which was acquired this week by JCDecaux Ireland.
