Dublin, 05 December, 2024: RedClick dublinbikes, the city’s iconic bike-sharing scheme has announced a new creative collaboration with on-street photographer Christopher Ward, known to his 1million+ Instagram followers as @ModelStrangers.
The collaboration, titled ‘Shared Streets’, was commissoned to celebrate the bike-sharing scheme’s new three-year partnership between Dublin City Council, JCDecaux and insurer RedClick, and aims to capture the essence of community, connection, and the unique stories of RedClick dublinbike users through a series of captivating on-street interviews and portraits. Through Ward’s lens and interviews, he’ll share stories that reflect Dublin’s vibrant culture and the vital role cycling plays in its urban life. These unique portraits will be published across the coming weeks with the first live from 3rd December.

South African-born photographer Christopher Ward has swiftly become a household name in Ireland and the UK, known for his talent in connecting with strangers and sharing their inspiring stories on social media. From everyday wisdom to life-changing encounters—like the story of 70-year-old Anne Flanagan, who landed a modelling contract and appeared on The Drew Barrymore Show after one of his interviews—Ward’s work celebrates the extraordinary within the ordinary.
RedClick’s dublinbikes partnership
