The Outdoor Media Association announced the winners of the 24th Outdoor Awards at a ceremony in the Shelbourne Hotel, Dublin on Thursday 17th October 2013. Trophies, designed by Deirdre Rogers, were awarded to agencies who demonstrated excellence in planning and creating Out of Home advertising campaigns over the past three years. The awards are one of the oldest and longest standing in the advertising industry and are a celebration of the creativity and effectiveness of the medium. Anton Savage was master of ceremonies for the event. The big winner on the night was Heineken, who took top prize in the ‘Best Heavy-Weight Outdoor Campaign’, ‘Best Integrated Campaign / Outdoor & Other Media’ and the coveted Grand Prix award.

Commenting on the Awards, Joanne Grant, Managing Director of JCDecaux and President of the OMA, said;

“This year the Outdoor Awards were truly a celebration of inspiring creative work and excellence in media planning. The entries were of an extremely high standard and the winning campaigns for each category demonstrate the breadth of talent that exists in our industry. It was a great occasion to shine a spotlight on Out of Home advertising, particularly in how well it can integrate in the wider media mix with new categories for ‘Outdoor & Digital’ and ‘Outdoor & Other Media’ attracting a lot of interest. A great night was had by all!”
