JCDecaux is the official outdoor partner to the Irish Film & Television Awards 2013. This week sees the launch of a high-profile outdoor advertising campaign supporting the Awards.  IFTA celebrates a wealth of Irish talent and JCDecaux media is able to showcase that talent on a standout multi-format campaign.

The campaign features various well known faces of the industry who have attended the Awards ceremony over the last 10 years. It is running on award winning Metro Formats and on Luas Columns at key stations on both the red and green lines. The portraits (including Michael Fassbender, Saoirse Ronan and Pierce Brosnan) were taken by renowned photographer Barry McCall, who is the Academy’s official portrait photographer.

Commenting on the campaign, Pat Mannion, Commercial Director at JCDecaux Ireland said, “We are very proud to be associated with the Academy on their 10th anniversary which is such an achievement for the television and film industry in Ireland.  This campaign is a showcase for Irish cinema and television, reminding us of how great a job they do in entertaining us on screen, and in representing Ireland around the world”.

The partnership is the first of its kind for the Academy which will be celebrating the 10th Annual Irish Film and Television Awards on February 9th.  The outdoor campaign will run from Monday January 28th until the Awards on February 9th.
