We are pleased to announce that JCDecaux Ireland Limited has acquired the independent Irish outdoor media owner, Bravo Outdoor Advertising Ltd.
Together with its billboard portfolio, JCDecaux Ireland operates the hugely successful dublinbikes bike sharing scheme. Additionally it manages the Luas advertising contract on behalf of the Railway Procurement Agency (RPA), also holding contracts with local authorities for supply and maintenance of automated public conveniences across Ireland. In Northern Ireland JCDecaux manages the NITHC/Translink advertising contract.
With the acquisition of Bravo Outdoor, JCDecaux has taken on responsibility for the CIE Commuter Advertising Network (CAN) contract to sell and manage transit and rail advertising throughout the Republic of Ireland. This contract includes the Dublin Bus and Bus Eireann fleets, DART advertising, Transvision digital station screens and all other advertising displays in CIE stations and properties, including rail bridges. Additionally Bravo operates a number of shopping centre contracts and large format roadside sites throughout Ireland.
