A selection of inspiring JCDecaux Innovate campaigns from around the world…
URUGUAY
Advertiser: Conaprole LGG Prodefens
Concept: Urban Knitting
A tiny village in Uruguay called “Mal Abrigo” (badly coated) was selected to promote Conaprole’s LGG Prodefens Yogurt - a product that helps to strength our natural defences, by covering the village with in hand knitted garments. To continue the campaign, JCDecaux 6 sheet Mupis in Montevideo were also posted with woollen posters and wrapped up in cosy hand-knitted scarves and skirts that protected them from the elements in a fun and eye-catching Innovate campaign, one that cleverly enhanced the brand’s message: wrap yourself up from within!
GERMANY
Advertiser: Adidas
Concept: Lenticular
Berlin Metro was dominated with 45 eye-catching Lenticular posters for Adidas #bethedifference during the month of August. As commuters walked past the ads the image flipped from Mesut Özil to Thomas Müller instructing them to Rule the Game and Destroy Order.
NORWAY
Advertiser: My Call
Concept: Special Build Podium - Experiential
My Call is Norway’s leading provider for international calls. This campaign aimed to prove that calling abroad was accessible to everyone with affordable prices. In Oslo city center, a bespoke podium with a digital screen was built where people could choose from a wide range of 60 countries and dial the number of the person they wanted to reach. Passers-by were able to call their friends and family living across the world for a maximum of three minutes all for free.
U.S.A
Advertiser: MillerCoors – Smith & Forge Hard Cider
Concept: Special Build
Smith & Forge Hard Cider achieved standout presence on the streets of Chicago this summer by converting a bus shelter into a blacksmith’s forge. The bench in the shelter was replaced with a giant anvil and the roof was given a rustic feel with a chimney and bespoke wrap. Smith & Forge has roots as the beverage of choice among hardworking individuals, so this campaign reminded commuters in Chicago that Smith & Forge Hard Cider is “perfect after a long day of blacksmithing”… and also after a long day at the office.
