AUSTRALIA
Advertiser: Estee Lauder
Concept: Dispenser / Sampling / Vouchers

To promote the scent of Modern Muse and Modern Muse Chic, Estee Lauder teamed up with JCDecaux Australia to create an innovative voting and dispensing system in the streets of Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. Pedestrians could try out the fragrances and were invited to vote for the one they preferred. Each time a vote was cast, a voucher was dispensed for them to collect a sample in store.

Concept: Shelter Wrap with Social Media Integration

Samsung raised money for a good cause with their “TweetForHeat” campaign. The bus shelter was turned into a warm and cosy heated zone with 2 heaters installed inside. Every time someone tweeted #TweetForHeat, the heaters switched on for 1 minute. The campaign aimed to increase awareness and raise funds for those living below the poverty line. For each new follower Samsung donated €0.50 and as a result, €10,000 was raised for charities Music for Life and Viva For Life.

Concept: Fully Wrapped & Illuminated Tram / Sampling / Experiential

The cult Milanese pizzeria Spontini teamed up with IGPDecaux to turn a vintage tram carriage into a “tram of light”. The tram symbolised Christmas spirit, bringing magic and joy to the streets of Milan. Inside the carriage children could meet Santa Claus and receive Christmas gifts while other passengers enjoyed a free slice of a delicious Spontini pizza.

PORTUGAL
Advertiser: Mercedes
Concept: Special Build Showcase

The objective of this campaign was to promote the new Mercedes Electric Car. JCDecaux Innovate created an impactful campaign where the car was connected to a giant electrical socket. In front of the podium special lighting was installed to show the battery ‘charging’. This installation ran for one month at Lisbon Airport.

Concept: Special Build Showcase / QR Codes

Amazon introduced the benefits of the latest Kindle Paperwhite e-reader in Shanghai metro. A giant 25 meter row of book shelves was filled with over 2,000 best-selling books, which are all available on Amazon’s website. 3 light boxes were mounted onto the book shelves broadcasting the message “When you face difficulty to choose amongst a wide array of books, you can always turn to Kindle Paperwhite instead which allows you to take every book home”. In addition, by scanning the QR code on the lightboxes, passengers got a chance to win a free Kindle Paperwhite
