The Sony Experia Z1 has kicked off its launch campaign with eye-catching digital ads throughout Victoria Square. This is Sony’s largest ever campaign in Northern Ireland so it is fitting that they have booked all five 55” screens in the centre as well as the 3.8m x 2.8m large screen making sure that the ads really can’t be missed.

 

The high definition 55” digital screens in Victoria Square are the ideal format to advertise the Sony Xperia Z1 which has a camera with the same components as Sony’s compact digital cameras, ensuring that it delivers top class picture quality. The large screen ensures that the message is amplified and really grabs the attention of shoppers.

Victoria Square draws clientele from far and wide with a host of high-end stores that includes House of Fraser, Reiss, Calvin Klein, Hugo Boss, Superdry and Apple. The 8 screen Odeon Cinema and a number of popular cafes and restaurants also make Victoria Square a fashionable venue at night.

The Xperia Z1 Compact, which is being launched by Sony, is the slimmed down version of the hugely successful and flagship Xperia Z1. The latest version features all of the same top-end specs as its larger sibling but boasts the added benefit of being slimmed down and ultra compact. It features a 4.3-inch display and measures only 124 x 59 x 9.5mm. It has a full aluminum chassis and thanks to its IP57 certification means it's resistant to water, dust and scratches.

 

The Sony Xperia Z1 can also be seen on JCDecaux billboards throughout the city. Kinetic planned and bought the campaign on behalf of Mediacom Belfast.
