mytaxi have won March’s Campaign of the Month with a clever, multi-format outdoor campaign to promote the taxi app’s new rebrand.

The campaign is a classic representation of the expression “simple yet effective”, with the creative featuring short, typically Irish phrases and puns to communicate the app’s rebrand.

A highlight of the campaign was the inclusion of a Luas Tram Side on both the Red Line and the Green Line to accentuate the campaign reach and visibility throughout Dublin city.  Given that 42% of Luas commuters go online to research a product in response to an outdoor ad, the Luas offered an excellent advertising medium for the app platform.

The campaign also featured on Luas Columns, JCDecaux Bus Shelters, Digital iVisions, Première, Metropoles, Metropanels and billboards.

The campaign was booked through outdoor specialist Source OOH and media agency Vizeum. Guns or Knives were responsible for the creative.
