JCDecaux and UPC have celebrated the launch of the first ever double Luas Tram Wrap. For the first time, one advertiser has branded two Luas at the same time and now, these two massively colourful wraps are blitzing the city.
The ‘twins’ are visible on the Luas lines, with one operating on the Green line; the St. Stephen’s Green - Sandyford - Brides Glen route, while the other is snaking through the red line which runs from Saggart - Tallaght -The Point.
Commenting on the Luas campaign, Clodagh Strahan of UPC said “UPC’s new On Demand service is a revolutionary change for TV. We wanted a campaign with talkability and the ability to wow prospective customers. Wrapping the inside and outside of the Luas on the red and green lines is a great way of communicating all the aspects of On Demand TV; the RTE Player and 3player, over 1,000 hours of box-sets and a massive choice of movies.”

The eye-catching design, which features viewers’ favourite programmes, movies and cartoon characters is really unlike anything that has been on Luas before.
The UPC campaign was planned and booked by Irish International, Carat Ireland, PML and JCDecaux Ireland. It also includes heavy large format cover from a mixture of 48 sheets, 96 sheets, Europanels and Platinum Squares.
