This week sees the launch of another stunning tram wrap for Unilever’s Magnum Infinity. The tram wrap is on the red line, which runs from Saggart and Tallaght to The Point and Connolly, carrying over 58,000 passengers daily.

The red line is the longer of the two Luas lines, visiting 32 stops in total, with access to Dublin’s two most famous and popular tourist attractions, Dublin Zoo and The Guinness Storehouse. It also provides direct transport to the O2, Croke Park and a host of other retail hotspots and entertainment venues such as the Lighthouse cinema in Smithfield  and Jervis St. shopping centre, all of which will be busy in the upcoming summer months.

The Magnum Infinity tram wrap is the second of its kind to hit the streets of Dublin in 2012. It follows hot on the heels of the Northern Ireland Tourist Board ‘Your time, our place’ tram wrap which launched in February and currently runs on the green line as part of a high profile media campaign.

In 2011, Unilever was the top spending advertiser on above-the-line media. Outdoor features heavily on their plans, with 19% of their total media spend going on outdoor formats. The Magnum range of indulgent ice-creams launched in Ireland in 1990 and the Magnum Infinity is the latest addition to their portfolio.

Luas commuters are not the only ones who will be tempted to experience the pleasure of Magnum Infinity as the tram will also be viewed by pedestrians and motorists at key points along the red line. Magnum is the perfect fit for Luas, helping bring a sense of summer to the City.

The Luas tram wrap was booked through JCDecaux by Mindshare and Kinetic.
