Over 200 attendees from creative and media agencies, out of home specialists, printers and media owners attended the 25th Outdoor Advertising Awards in the Shelbourne Hotel on Thurs 8th October to celebrate excellence in media planning and creative strategy. Anton Savage was MC for the evening, with winners and runners up receiving trophies in 12 categories.

Stefan Schmidt, chairman of the judging panel and founder of Berlin based creative agency dieckertschmidt commented on the quality of entries this year and the importance of using out of home to create impactful, charming, witty and appealing advertising that enhances the environment.

McDonalds were big winners on the night as the grand prix award for media planning went to Mediaworks for the McDonalds “Free Breakfast Friday” campaign and the grand prix for creativity was presented to Cawley Nea for their McDonalds “EuroSaver” campaign.
