The festive season has seen some fantastic out of home innovation on the streets of Dublin and Belfast. Here is a selection of 2012 Christmas Innovate campaigns on large format...

Vodafone EL
Vodafone created a deceptively seamless looking EL campaign (there were in fact hundreds of illuminated sections in this piece) to echo their Christmas TV ad of a reindeer being reunited with his friends and family in a snow covered forest.  This campaign was planned by OMD & Kinetic. The EL was produced by Delite Global.

 

Joseph Rea Spangleys & LED Lighting
Once again local Jeweller in Belfast, Joseph Rea, used twinkly LED lighting and spangleys to promote their seasonal sale of diamond rings. Innovation is a perfect fit for this brand and their outdoor specials are now an annual way for them to 'engage' with their target audience.

Carlsberg
Carlsberg used backlit cut-out lightboxes to highlight their brand name and a 2D Christmas tree with festive lighting. The Carlsberg campaign was planned by Carat & Source OOH. The lighting specials were produced by Eclipse Media.

 

Guinness EL
Continuing their 'made of more' theme, Guinness posters in cycle 25 and 26 were turned into animated scenes using EL. The Guinness campaign was planned by Carat & Source OOH. The EL was produced by Delite Global.

 

Budweiser
The iconic scene of the Budweiser cyldesdale horses in the snow was brought to life using Neon lighting and 2D halo lit special builds in cycle 26. A stunning innovation to round off 2012! The Budweiser campaign was planned by Carat & Source OOH. The lighting & special builds were produced by Eclipse Media.
